2. How many guests can sleep at Peaceful Waters Retreat?

We offer three lodging tiers:

  • Ranch House: Sleeps up to 14 guests in 3B / 4.5 BA

  • Retreat Center: Sleeps up to 30 guests in 8B / 8BA

  • Whole Property: Sleep up to 45 guests in 11B / 12.5BA. This rental option includes both the Ranch House & Retreat Center.

3. What is your maximum capacity for events and day use?

Peaceful Waters Retreat can host up to 150 people for day-use events. Our Great Room at the Retreat Center includes a 1500 ft² dining space, 1,000ft² meeting space, while outdoor areas can accommodate larger group gatherings.

4. What are "Earth Block" suites and are they sustainable?

Peaceful Waters is Texas’ first and only Compressed Earth Block (CEB) retreat center. The suites are built from local soil and clay, which provides natural thermal mass to keep rooms cool in summer and warm in winter. This eco-friendly construction is non-toxic, sustainable, and highly energy-efficient.

5. What amenities are included for retreat groups?

Guests have access to a 5-acre private lake for catch-and-release fishing, SUPs, and rowboats. Additional amenities include two swimming pools (including a heated in-ground pool), two hot tubs, a cedar dry sauna, a steam room, a gym, and a game room with ping-pong, arcade games, and air hockey.

6. Do you have a kitchen and do you provide catering?

The Retreat Center features a professional kitchen with a 48” gas range, a large prep island, and dining seating for 40 guests. We do not offer in-house catering, but can supply a vendor list upon request.

7. Are there trails or meditation spaces on the property?

Yes, Peaceful Waters features a 2-mile walking and biking trail and a dedicated Meditation Path. The meditation path includes six reflection stations with seating, allowing guests to pause and experience the 53 acres of natural Texas beauty and local wildlife.
